Tour Overview
Queen Elizabeth National Park is in the Western region of Uganda, approximately 400 kilometers by road, southwest of Kampala, Uganda’s capital city. The park is known for its numerous wildlife including African buffalo, Uganda kobs, hippopotamus, giant forest frog, warthog, Nile crocodile, African bush elephant, African leopard, climbing lion and chimpanzee. It is a home to 95 mammal species and over 500 bird species. The park is also famous for its volcanic features including volcanic cones, and deep craters such as the Katwe craters, from which salt is extracted/ mined. So, you will be able to view most of these animals and features while on this safari.
